What to Expect From a Headshot Session in Manteca

We bring the studio to you. Whether we’re photographing a full corporate team or a solo entrepreneur, we aim to create a relaxed and efficient experience. We arrive 30–40 minutes early to set up our mobile backdrop and lighting, and we only need about a 6×10 foot space. Most sessions take just 2–10 minutes per person, and we review each set of images with the individual on the spot.

Posing, Expression & Helping You Feel Comfortable

No modeling experience? No problem. We’ll walk you through the process with easy posing cues, natural prompts, and genuine feedback. We start each headshot explaining to them what angles we’re photographing and the editing that will be done on all headshots. From there, we guide you through different poses—shoulders turned, chin angle adjustments, and more—until you see something you love. We review the images together on a laptop so you can choose your favorite. We also help identify things like your best side or lighting preferences, and we’re mindful of common concerns like posture, hair, or facial symmetry.

What Should You Wear?

We recommend sticking with clean, solid colors—navy, mid-tone blue, charcoal, olive, and other neutrals photograph beautifully. Avoid busy patterns or logos unless they represent your brand. Most companies choose our dark grey backdrop because it’s professional and flattering across skin tones. We also offer white, black, or gradient grey backdrops—and if you’d prefer an outdoor or indoor environmental setting, we can do that too (lighting and sun permitting).
